Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

Duration: 19 Days

About Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek

The Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is one of the most challenging treks in Nepal that crosses two high passes; French pass (5360 M) and Dhampus pass (5155 M). Crossing these passes requires a high level of physical fitness and basic mountaineering skills. This region has been explored by very few trekkers and mountaineers only. ,

Dhaulagiri Circuit trekking takes you to the less explored regions which pass through lush green forests rich in wildlife, beautiful settlements of Magars, terraced fields, landscapes, waterfalls, and snow-covered trails, glaciers, moraines, and some dry landscapes resembling the Tibetan Plateau. Due to the fewer visitors, you will have the opportunity to explore and experience the natural beauty & cultural grandeur in an authentic way that has not been spoiled by modernization.

The view of the Himalayas like Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, and Annapurna is pretty impressive during the trek especially the Dhaulagiri massif, which consists of the main Mt. Dhaulagiri including many other peaks below 8,000 meters. Dhaulagiri Circuit trek is physically demanding and requires camping because of the lack of accommodation & may not be suitable for everyone. But for those who are capable and fit to take the challenge, the trek is truly rewarding.

Our 19-day Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek Itinerary commences from Darbang (Myagdi) reaching Jomsom (Mustang) via French Pass and Dhampus Pass circling the world’s seventh highest peak, Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167 M).
