About Rara Lake Trek
Rara Lake Trek will take you to the far west of Nepal around Jumla and the Mugu district. The main highlight of this trek is Rara Lake itself. Known as the largest lake in Nepal, Rara Lake is located at 2,990 meters above sea level. Rara Lake Trek will give you a chance to explore and experience pristine nature and the rich culture of this region. During the trek, you will also walk on trodden paths. This lake comes inside the Rara National Park, which is home to several rare wildlife like Musk Deer, Himalayan Black Bear, Leopard, Himalayan Ghoral, Red Panda, and numerous species of birds. Moreover, Snow Trout is the only species of fish, you will find in this lake.
