About Chitwan Wildlife Safari
The Chitwan Wildlife Safari or the Chitwan Jungle Safari is one of the best ways to make yourself known in the wilderness of Nepal. Located in the south-central part of Nepal, Chitwan National Park is the first National Park in Nepal. This national park is widely famous among travel lovers who want to get closer to the wildlife and explore the distinct vegetation. Moreover, this park is also part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Flora & Fauna in Chitwan
Chitwan National Park is home to a huge number of tropical and subtropical forests and animals. There are altogether 600 different species of vegetation among which 70% is covered by Sal trees, 20% grasslands, and 50 different types of grasses. Similarly, as per recent data, 50 species of mammal, over 525 types of birds, 150 types of butterflies, 55 different types of amphibians & reptiles, and 126 types of fishes are found here. Animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger, One-Horned Rhinoceros, Wild elephant, Leopard, Deer, Wild boar, Wild bear, Monkeys, Four-Horned Antelope, Golden Monitor Lizard, Pangolin, etc are found here. Whereas birds like the Giant Hornbill, Bengal Florican, Lesser Florican, Kingfisher, Black Stork, Peacock, Cormorants, Vultures, Jungle Fowl, White Cap River Chat, Parrots, Tailorbird, etc are found here.
