The Everest Base Camp Trek is a 17-day epic journey to the base of Mt. Everest through the villages of the Sherpa people, renowned for their exceptional mountaineering skills and warm hospitality. The people in this area practice Tibetan Buddhism, and their culture and traditions are similar to those of the Tibetan people. Most of the part of this trek lies within the boundary of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to diverse wildlife and vegetation. On the trek, you will pass through the captivating forest of rhododendrons, Oak, Pine, and Juniper while often crossing paths with yaks. Himalayan Jharals, Himalayan Monal (Danphe), Tibetan Snowcock, Blood Pheasant, etc., can be seen often throughout the trail.

The dramatic and stunning mountain scenery is what makes the Everest Base Camp Trek the ultimate choice for trekkers around the globe. Every day, you will get to see the numerous peaks from different angles while passing through the beautiful villages, forests, mani walls, chortens, monasteries, thrilling suspension bridges, etc.

One of the unique, shaped, and beautiful mountains that you will come across on this trek is Mt. Ama Dablam (6812 M), which has been called ‘The Matterhorn of Nepal’ by many foreign tourists. From places like Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar, you will have the opportunity to see some of the world’s highest peaks like Mt Everest (8848 M), Lhotse (8516 M), Makalu (8463 M), Cho Oyu (8201 M) and other smaller peaks like Nuptse (7855 M), Pumori (7161 M), Thamserku (6623 M), and Mt. Ama Dablam (6812 M).
